Anna Timofiejczuk

works at the Department of Fundamentals of Machinery Design at the Silesian University of Technology, where she conducts research on the application of artificial intelligence in technical diagnostics, maintenance engineering, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Since July 2024, she has been a member of the team responsible for establishing and managing the Poland in Silicon Valley (PolSV) Center for Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, operating in Silicon Valley, USA.
At the Silesian University of Technology, she has served as Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Director of the Industry 4.0 Center, and Coordinator of the Priority Research Area “Process Automation and Industry 4.0.”
In 2018, together with her team, she established the first Industry 4.0 Competence Center in Poland.
She currently serves as Chair of the Sector Skills Council for Automation and Robotics. She was also a member of the Automotive Council, including Electromobility, at the Ministry of Development and Technology, a member of the Program Council of the Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing Cluster, and a member of the Scientific Council of OBRUM Ltd.
