Dariusz Pałka, PhD Eng., MBA – Head of the Cybersecurity Standards and Architecture Department at Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. An expert in cybersecurity architecture, critical infrastructure protection, and building organizational cyber resilience.
He is responsible for developing cybersecurity architecture standards and overseeing their implementation across IT and OT environments. He leads a team responsible for designing multi-layered protection models for information and industrial systems, with particular focus on the requirements of the critical infrastructure sector and operators of essential services.
He is actively involved in national and international initiatives aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem. He cooperates with industry organizations, foundations, academic institutions, and expert communities, participating, among other activities, in the review of normative and regulatory documents, as well as in initiatives promoting good practices in the design and implementation of secure IT/OT systems.
He chairs the sectoral ISAC GAZ PL initiative in the gas sector, whose purpose is to foster cooperation and the exchange of information on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents among sector participants.
