Chief Information Security Officer at IBK Bank Polska. For over 20 years, he has worked at the intersection of technology, cybersecurity and operational resilience in sectors where mistakes can be very costly: banking, industry and telecommunications.
He helped build two banks from the ground up under the supervision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority: Alior Bank and IBK Bank Polska, developing their security and ICT risk capabilities.
Between these projects, he worked at Ciech S.A., Orange Polska and Bank BGŻ. He was responsible for IT and cybersecurity across the KGHM Group in Europe and the Americas, and also served as CIO of Bank Ochrony Środowiska.
He is a graduate of the Military University of Technology, the Executive MBA programme at the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Stanford Research Institute. Privately, he is a pilot, which is why he approaches risk management with both respect and pragmatism.
