Iryna Volnytska is President of SET University and Founder & CEO of IronCyber.
Iryna registered SET University in February 2022, two weeks before Russia's full-scale
invasion of Ukraine. Today it is a full-cycle tech ecosystem comprising four Master’s programs,
six micro-master’s programs, its own accelerator, and two embedded cyber startups. More
than 350 founders have trained there; over half of the first Master's cohort launched
companies instead of writing theses.
In 2025, Iryna founded IronCyber (a SET University spin-off) – a Ukrainian cybersecurity
startup that develops attack simulation scenarios inspired by real-world threats, helping
organizations worldwide strengthen their cyber resilience.
She is a member of the National Cybersecurity Challenges Committee (operating under the
National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine), a board member at Hilltop Technologies
(USA), and a speaker at Black Hat, Web Summit, Forbes events, and the International Cyber
Expo. Her expertise has been featured in Tech.eu, Forbes, Le Point, Times Higher Education,
The Chronicle of Higher Education, and others.
