Position: Director for Cybersecurity Strategic Development, NASK, ENISA Management Board and Executive Board
Cybersecurity expert and Director of Strategic Cybersecurity Development at NASK National Research Institute; until 2022, Deputy Director of NASK for Cybersecurity and Innovation. Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Digital Affairs from 2017 to 2018, responsible for the establishment of the national cybersecurity system. Since 2004, Poland’s representative on the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA); Vice-Chair of the Management Board from 2016 to 2023 and a member of ENISA’s Executive Board since 2013. Founder of the country’s first Internet incident response team – CERT Polska (1996) – and the first national conference on Internet security – SECURE (since 1997), Initiator and promoter of innovative cybersecurity projects at NASK with a national scope, including the ARAKIS system. Member of the Council for Digitalisation under the Minister for Informatisation from 2023 to 2025. Lecturer on postgraduate courses at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and on the MBA programme at the Military University of Technology (WAT). Author of numerous publications and presentations at conferences on cyberspace security.
