Goals and description of the initiative:
During CYBERSEC CEE EXPO & FORUM 2024, on June 19 in Krakow, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski, a letter of intent was signed between the Kosciuszko Institute and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) regarding the organization of a series of events dedicated to the priorities of digital and technological policies of the Polish presidency of the EU Council.
The cooperation involves organizing a series of meetings in 2024 and 2025 on challenges related to cybersecurity and new technologies. The thematic scope of the meetings includes:

These meetings will take the form of closed seminars, workshops, and roundtable discussions. Participants will be key stakeholders in the European cybersecurity ecosystem from the public, private, academic, and non-governmental sectors. The meetings will be held in Brussels, Warsaw, and Krakow . Each meeting will be summarized by a policy brief issued by the initiative’s partners, presenting recommendations based on the work of Working Groups established for each meeting and the outcomes of those.
The series of meetings will conclude during the CYBERSEC conference, June 2025 as part of events established by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, KI, #CMIP and ECSO, including presentations of the work results by representatives of the partner organizations and a high-level debate between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski, ministers from the countries holding the presidency after Poland in the EU Council, and the European Commission.

CYBERSEC is an annual conference that brings together experts, stakeholders and researchers from around the world to discuss current challenges, threats, but also achievements in cybersecurity. CYBERSEC is also an EXPO, which turned out to be the largest trade fair on the topic of cyber security in the Central and Eastern European region (more than 2,000 visitors and more than 50 exhibitors).

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is a European, cross-sectoral membership organisation that contributes to developing cybersecurity communities and building the European cybersecurity ecosystem. ECSO was established under a contractual partnership with the European Commission to implement a public-private partnership in cybersecurity. For several years, a representative of the Ministry of Digital Affairs has been sitting on the ECSO Board of Directors.

#CyberMadeInPoland is a collaborative and promotional platform dedicated to advancing the Polish cybersecurity industry. Its primary objective is to cultivate a secure cyberspace in Poland while promoting Polish cybersecurity companies on the international stage. The cluster fosters collaboration between the private sector, academic institutions, public administration, international corporations, industry chambers, and various other partners. The cluster brings together 60 member companies and 16 organizations.
